This website was established in response to the recent Tohoku earthquake and tsunami disaster and intends to intensify and support scientific research activities between Japan and Switzerland. The site should provide a platform for coordinating relief efforts via scientific ties and lists open positions for visiting Japanese researchers and students, facilities available to Japanese partners as well as dedicated research initiatives and funding resources.
